Few days ago, I started taking email marketing a bit more seriously, and I wrote a post about it. It was about how I felt when I first sent my first ever broadcast email to my list.

Well, wanna know how much money I made?

Zero. Crickets. 

I constantly kept on refreshing my email stats, checking how many people opened my emails, how many clicked on my links, and how many unsubscribed (that hurts). But after 3 days of constant refreshing, although a few people opened my emails, but I generated 0 sales.

Well, I kind of expected that this would happen. But even then I was hoping for some miracle 😂

I tried sending a few different emails to my list, and I am still testing things. 

But finally, yesterday when I sent a quick email (that I literally wrote in less than 10 minutes), I made $100 in instant revenue!

Damn! Can you imagine?! I cannot believe that this works! I always thought of it as a fantasy, how people make thousands of dollars just by sending emails to their subscribers!

Here are the stats from that email-

Almost 1000 emails sent

100 opened

15 clicked

$100 earned ($50 in the above screenshot was previous pending commission)

So you can say, I'm right now making $0.1 per every email subscriber in my email list (frankly, I'm not that much familiar with these numbers, have just heard that these matter).

So this is it! I never used to believe that this stuff is real, but now that I've seen it happen, I believe that it works. And since I can make $100 with a single email, I'm sure I can make $10,000 with similar things. It's just a matter of how well I learn and advance with these things.

To end this post, I would like to say, there is no secret of making money online. The only way is to get started. It doesn't matter how much you know, it doesn't matter what resources you have. What matters is what you do with whatever you have.

  • We talked a few days before, I started my email list on mailerlite, bought an .xyz domain( cheapest one but hey alphabet owns one), went for infinityfree.net, siteground is a little expensive for me but I’ll upgrade later on plus I learned how to fix the bugs in infinityfree.net and bought an ssl certificate for free (YouTube rocks). I’m now using Dive themes( sorry brother for not using your affiliate offer but siteground is expensive at this stage, YouTube helped me in getting that one for free as well.) So, currently I started with all the necessities at INR 72. Might sound pretty cheap but took a lot of research and the bright side is I did all that because of you. Thank you.

      Yes, SiteGround has raised their prices and now it’s not affordable for beginners. I would recommend Hostinger these days, it’s much more affordable.
